Week 7 · Powering your cells

Energy & Mitochondria

Chronic fatigue isn't a character flaw — it's usually mitochondrial dysfunction. This week we support your cellular energy production at the root.

1

Why you're actually tired

True fatigue (not sleepiness) is almost always about your mitochondria — the energy-producing structures in your cells. When they're undernourished, under-oxygenated, or inflamed, no amount of sleep fixes the exhaustion. We address all three.

2

Movement as energy medicine

Counterintuitively, gentle movement creates energy. It improves mitochondrial density, oxygen delivery, and cellular clearance. This week introduces zone 2 movement — conversational-pace walking or similar — for 20–30 minutes daily.

3

Mitochondrial nutrients

Your mitochondria need specific inputs: CoQ10, B-vitamins, magnesium, and quality protein. Your supplement protocol this week adds targeted mitochondrial support. Food sources are prioritised; supplements fill gaps.

Do these daily

Daily zone 2 movement
20–30 minutes of conversational-pace movement. Walk, cycle, swim.
Breath and oxygen
5 minutes of box breathing midday to optimise oxygen delivery.
